Tatler Restaurant and Bar

Tatler is a stylish restaurant in the heart of town, ideally situated for people watching in The Mall, Queenstown's pedestrian street. The historic Tatler was built in 1863 and has recently been refurbished to provide a welcoming bistro atmosphere.

Come in for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just coffee or drinks and bring your laptop to use our free wifi broadband.

Upstairs is Tatler's private dining room, The Spectator Room. Available for private functions, the Spectator Room has its own bar and an open fire as well as its own private balcony with lake views. There's a private bathroom upstairs too. Some evenings we open the Spectator Room to the public so give us a call in advance to book your romantic fire-side table.

Tatler is open daily from 8am with a range of breakfast choices for $10 until 10am, when our all-day menu starts.

We offer a range of $10 lunches from Monday to Friday and each evening between 5 and 6.30pm there’s a range of Early Bird dishes with no main course over $19.50.

This Valentine's Weekend, why not bring your loved one to Tatler; our chef has designed a tantalising menu with oysters, smoked salmon, strawberries and chocolate, complemented by a 375ml bottle of Veuve Cliquot.

Prime Waterfront Restaurant and Bar

Prime is a modern restaurant overlooking Lake Wakatipu, also in the centre of town. Prime's menu features a range of char grilled steaks as well as an a la carte selection of game, seafood and vegetarian options. Come and try a glass of local wine or stay for dinner and enjoy the fabulous views of Queenstown's lakes and mountains.

Prime is open daily from 5pm with a range of Early Bird dishes for $19.50 until 6.30pm.
